Pictures
I have been told that I am slacking! So as promised below are pictures from our vacation in Ohio which is really only 5.5 hours away (info for Jill & Markus he he he), the cubs game on Aug 6th (Ryan's birthday), Ryan's bday dinner and Aunt Meg's 50th bday! Thanks for the use of Sarah's camera and her excellent photographer skills. (she made me say it)
We saw Uncle Steve, Aunt Meg, Rebecca and Ian tonight.
Rebecca was on "a mission", she had to fly a certain # of miles and she was able to fly to Midway. It was great to see her. She promised to post a comment when she finds out if she will be flying helicopters or planes in the very near future. I also may have the story wrong as to why she flew so she can fill us in. hint, hint.
Ian also promised to post a comment and let us know how he is doing. Rebecca told him that the longer he waits, the longer the comment has to be. He starts school in another week. He is at UIC.
Kate is moving into a new place. Uncle Steve says it is really neat.
It has been great to see so much family the last few weeks. Now that school is starting up again and summer is over, please keep all of us informed of your doings.
Matt starts teaching on Monday - His 2nd year at this school and he loves it. Bethany loves her Chris Ed job and her rally day is next Sunday. Ryan is still home (yeah for mom) for another few weeks. He starts mid- Sept. Sarah starts school next week. One more year at the Jr college and then off to ........
E-mail me if you don't want to post a comment. Everyone really does want to know what everyone else is up to.
Love Aunt Deb
Purple People Bridge in Ohio. It really is purple. It used to be a railroad bridge (yeah Justin) but they made it into a people bridge. You can walk across the top for 50.00 so we just decided to walk on the bottom.
Matt, Bethany, Sarah, Ryan on a boat ride along the Ohio River. It rained and was pretty cool. (both the weather and the boat ride)
We decided to go see the Cincinnati Red's play the St. Louis Cardinals on our vacation. It is a beautiful stadium (even if the Cubs don't play there). It over looks the Ohio river. The reds won! Yeah Red's - boo Cardinals. It was an awesome game!
Matt, Bethany, Ryan, Sarah and Uncle Ken at the Cincinnati Reds game on our Ohio vacation. We sat WAY up high!
Alyssa with the family Bday hat - it's not even her Bday!
Amy & Kairi (Tara in the background)
Lexi all dressed in Cubs!
Matt playing with blocks - practicing for his high school teaching job!
Dusty's better half. Dusty wouldn't let Aunt Deb take his picture unless it was his butt so here we are!
Family Pic!
Grandma and Ryan
Ryan in the family "Happy Birthday" hat. He actually enjoys wearing it!
Dusty & Ryan saying Bye - How cute!
Sarah and Katie - how many Cubs game have they been to? More than Aunt Deb!
Nicole & Ryan (& Katie Sarah's friend)
Happy Birthday Ryan!
Grandma and Grandpa (clowning around!)
Allie, Uncle Scott (and his funny hat), Erin
Uncle Mark,
Alyssa, Dusty (drinking beer?!)
Aunt Meg' new piano!
50 Years - Wow!
Amy & Kairi playing in the "dirt" at Turtle Beach
Ryan & Tara eating ice cream cake for his bday. He used to love his mom's chocolate pie but has now decided that everyone's choc pie is better than his moms so she won't make it for him anymore!

Thanks for posting the pictures! I wish I could have came sooner for Ryan and Aunt Megs birthdays - But the Cubs game was fun! :) It was great to see everyone, we need to do it more often!

Brian DID walk the top of the bridge - with a bum knee. That surely made me nervous. Have seen the Cubs play at the Cinci stadium several times. That is the only time I have gone there. Had a good time on Ryan's bday at the Cubs game here. Thanks for inviting us.
