more news......
Thanks to Jill & Erin for adding comments to the blog. I sure like to hear from everyone.
Ryan & Nicole have picked a Wedding date – Sunday May 24, 2009. Its Memorial Day weekend so hopefully that will make it easier for the out of state people! There seem to be a lot of teachers in the family so hopefully the long weekend will help them too! The reception will be at Prairie Landing in West Chicago (very close to both Nicole and our house) and the Pastor that Ryan grew up with, Pastor Dawson, will perform the service at a church in Glen Ellyn. They are both very excited and starting to make plans. They can go for a free food tasting at Prairie Landing – sounds good!
Matt & Bethany have signed the contract on a townhome in Cary. It’s about 5 – 10 minutes from where they are now. The townhome has 2 bedrooms, a den, 1 ½ baths, a dining room and a living room all on 3 levels. They need to buy a frig and washer & dryer. They got a great deal as the house needs some repair but they are both handy so the repairs that they need to make won’t be too hard for them. They had it inspected yesterday and there were not any surprises. They are waiting for their closing date and can’t wait to get in and start working on it. Their lease runs through April so they should have a few weeks to fix it up the way they want it and then move in.
Gary (Aunt Sally’s son) had a baby girl, Mia on March 3rd. Gary was going to e-mail me pictures. When I get them, I will put them on the blog.
Aunt Meg is going to see Rebecca for Easter in California.
That’s all the news I have.
It looks like Jill & Markus got some more snow. It’s still cold here but I think spring is on the way. Opening day is in 3 weeks! Go Cubs!
Love,
Aunt Deb, MOM or just plain Deb
